AVAILABLE SWORDS

This section comprises of completed Japanese style swords forged and finished at Akitsu Forge. These include pieces presented in Shirasaya (bare blades ready to be mounted) as well as fully mounted swords in Koshirae.

Each sword blade here is an individual work. Hand forged, heat treated and finished with careful attention to proportion, geometry and its inherent character. The blades in Shirasaya may be acquired as is, or can be commissioned with custom Koshirae developed in the Akitsu Forge design language. 

All the swords here are functional blades and are adequate for both collection or practical Dojo use. Koshirae may range from restrained functional mounting to more developed bespoke compositions, but practicality is never sacrificed for form. The Akitsu Forge philosophy is always form and function in perfect harmony.
